Join Charles Meng, Executive Director and CEO of the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC), to learn about Food Insecurity in Arlington and what we can do about it. 

You're invited to non-perishable (unopened, unexpired, unprepared) food items for AFAC. They are most in need of low sodium: tomato products, canned tuna, canned beans, canned soup and low sugar cereal. 

ALL welcome. Gather at 6:30, conversation starts at 7.

Rocklands is contributing 20% of all sales to Arlington Thrive-- the local nonprofit that provides aid to county residents in financial crisis. Games and fun for people of all ages and stages with many opportunities to donate to Thrive. Bring your friends, appetite, and generous spirit!

Serve at Arlington Food Assistance Center

Last month we learned about Food Insecurity in Arlington—now it’s our turn to volunteer and contribute to the #commongood.

Join Arlington Commons as we volunteer at the Arlington Food Assistance Center! Volunteers will bag produce and most should be able to stand on their feet for 2 hours and lift 20-30lb. crates. There are some jobs some that can be done while seated.
